Cranial Sacral - This is not a massage. The client is fully clothed and lies face up while the practitioner holds certain areas of the body to release restrictions in the craniosacral system and improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

Cupping - Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. Cupping can have many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Deep Tissue Massage - applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Hot Stone Massage - Smooth heated basalt stones are used to massage your body into a state of pure relaxation. The heat from the stones increases circulation while decreasing muscle tightness and pain.

Manual Lymph Drainage - This is not a massage. Using very light pressure and long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase the flow of lymph and reduce toxins in your body. The lymph system is part of your body's immune system and helps fight infection. MLD is also beneficial in reducing post surgical and post injury swelling.  Tummy tuck clients - please wait two weeks when drains are out and scars have closed. Lipo and other surgeries generally 6 days post when scars are closed. Your therapist will discuss your individual needs before the session.

Meta Ki Touch - This 2 hour session uses three powerful modalities of Shiatsu, Deep Tissue and Manual Lymphatic Massage in order to heal and relax all levels of the body, mind and soul. Creating a healthy environment within the energy level, the deep muscle tissue and the circulatory level of the Lymphatic system, you will walk out of the session restored, renewed and rejuvenated!

Bodywork Services

Shiatsu - is a Japanese form of body-work using passive stretches along with full body hands-on pressure in order to harmonize the Qi.  This unique session can be done on a floor mat or a table, having the client fully clothed, not using any lotion/oil and can help with physical pain complaints along with psychological, emotional and/’or energetic discomforts. A deep relaxed/meditative state is in result after a shiatsu session creating more circulation, looser muscles and joints, and the feeling of less stress within the body and mind.

Singing Bowl Therapy - (Temporarily Unavailable) combines powerful vibration and tones to induce an immediate relaxed state.  The induction of the sound waves directly into the body along with soothing ambient tones is such a strong treatment that many clients have reported effects ranging from a meditative state to deep relaxation. We offer singing bowl, Reiki with singing bowls, shiatusu and massage with singing bowls.

Sports Massage - not just for athletes, perfect for anyone in a physical career i.e. hair stylists, musicians etc.  Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point and range of motion stretches are incorporated to facilitate healing, reduce pain and increase range of motion.

Swedish Massage -  increases blood circulation, easing the tension in the body’s muscles and improving the muscles’ flexibility. It stimulates the skin as well as the nervous system to soothe the nerves, reducing both emotional and physical stress. Perfect for stress relief and relaxation.

Thai massage - also known as Thai yoga massage or assisted yoga, doesn’t use oils and kneading like traditional massage. Instead, your therapist helps you perform passive stretches and yoga poses  by using their body to assist and guide you throughout. Your massage therapist may use their hands, elbows, forearms and feet to help reduce tension in your muscles. Unlike Western massage Thai massage starts with a mat on the floor (or on a table if you prefer). And unlike other massages, which have you remove most of your clothes, with Thai massage, you can leave your clothes on. Loose-fitting clothes are preferred.

Myofascial Release - a very effective technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Myofascial Release is performed directly on skin without oils or creams. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia.

Oncology Massage -  a collection of techniques tailored to the needs of persons living with cancer. The massage therapist is trained in all stages of the disease as well as the various precautions including those for radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.

Prenatal Massage - is beneficial in all stages of pregnancy and aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good as you cope with all the big changes that are going on in your life.  Clients are comfortably bolstered and supported in a side lying position.

Reiki - This is not a massage. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reflexology - In this system, the nerve endings in the extremities provide a “map” of the rest of the body. Through the application of pressure on particular areas of the hands or feet, reflexology is said to promote benefits such as the relaxation of tension, improvement of circulation, and support of normalized function in the related area in the body.

Somatic Experiencing - This is not a massage. During a somatic experiencing session the client lays comfortably clothed on the table. Using guided breathing techniques and body awareness tools, the nervous system achieves homeostasis. Supportive stress relieving touch, and mobilization of joints will be administered depending on the specific needs of the client at the time. Integrating the polyvagal theory into somatic experiences and practices to help release trauma both emotionally and physically. Tools to help nervous system regulation may be learned in the process, so that one will be able to integrate them in their life.
